How the Course Works
Price: $200pp
Duration: 2.5 hours
Class size: 1 on 1 or bring a friend
Format: Hands-on bring your own bike
Location: 2 2 young street Annandale NSW 2038
Each session covers two maintenance topics of your choice and is tailored to your bike type, riding style, and experience level.
This is not a lecture. You’ll be guided step-by-step while working on your own bike throughout the session
Choose Two Course Topics
Drivetrain Maintenance
- Checking chain wear and replacement
- Cleaning and lubricating drivetrain components
- Adjusting derailleurs and resolving shifting issuss
Brake Systems
- Brake Systems Hydraulic or mechanical brake maintenance
- Replacing brake pads and calliper care
- Brake bleeding
- Caliper alignment
- Rotor or rim brake cleaning and adjustment
Frame Care & Bearing Replacement ( Mtb recomended )
- Headset bearing maintenance and replacement
- Pivot bearing linkage removal and regrease
- Pivot bearing removal and replacement
Wheels, Tires & Tubeless Systems
- Wheel inspection and basic truing
Tire and tube repair - Tubeless puncture repair and adding sealant or tyre plug
- Setting correct tire pressure for different riding conditions

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Many participants are experienced road, mountain, or bikepacking riders who want a deeper understanding of their bikes and want to tackle some of this at home. Instruction is adapted to your level and your bike.
Yes. The workshop is entirely hands-on. You’ll work exclusively on your own bike so everything you learn applies directly to your setup and riding style.
Road, mountain, gravel, and bikepacking bikes are fully supported.
E-bikes are welcome provided they are legal for use in NSW.
Yes. All professional-grade tools required for the session are provided thanks to Pedros . If replacement parts are required, this will be identified during the workshop and discussed separately.
Absolutely. The workshop is well suited to riders preparing for long-distance or remote riding, with an emphasis on preventative maintenance and practical, field-relevant skills.
Your bike should be in working order and fitted with a SRAM, Shimano, or equivalent drivetrain. Bikes newer than 2015 are preferred. Its not a restoration class.

Sessions are intentionally small (1-4 riders) to allow for individual guidance. Topic selection, setup advice, and instruction are tailored to your bike, components, and riding goals.
